Yesterday someone invited me to a new group on Facebook for Germany. I usually become an innocent bystander and hardly pay attention to these groups. I am in way too many of them to dedicate time to each of them. Since most of my recent research has been on my German ancestors, I decided to browse through quickly and see what information they were sharing.
Someone posted a link to free genealogy education. FREE!!!! We love free; to learn something and not have to pay for it is fantastic. How does one turn down free learning? Anyhow, I clicked the link and came to a page for BYU’s free Independent Study courses.
I signed up last night for the German course and look forward to taking that one and many more. Have you taken part in any of the Independent Study courses? We’d love to hear about your experiences!
