This column will focus on the Social Context of our ancestors and our genealogy – the history, cultural, and natural environments that can become the subjects of visits. Being a retired person, Dr. Bill will generally take that viewpoint. However, this column is for readers of all ages and stations. Join Dr. Bill as he explores our heritage!

Can’t wait to see what you offer! Living and working in a tourist based town, and now a part of that economy working with a local historic preservation group, this will be quite interesting for me.
Thank you, Jen. I’m looking forward to doing the writing, as well. Lots of directions I can go. I am fascinated by the work of historic preservation groups. As a rolling stone, I’ve never had the chance to be part of one.
